Live Figurative Painting
1 hour sketches painted live with iPad Pro, Apple Pencil and Procreate app.
Live Figurative Painting
Art is the medium I use to bring my passions to life in living colour. The world we call home and all the human bodies which encompass it, fascinate me. Figurative art is my most recent muse as it allows me the freedom to capture my relations and intuitions on these newly formed human connections on the canvas. Live painting opportunities have captivated me to produce some of my most powerful portraits; allowing me to document the aspirations, dreams, fashion and individual life stories of 21st century.
Process and locations:
- Duration of the painting session is approximately 1 hour.
- Being still is not a requirement for the entire time span, I will ask you when to hold a pose.
- My studio is located near Fairview Mall (Don Mills & Sheppard, Toronto, ON) conveniently close to TTC Don Mills Station and visitor parking.
- If you have a unique location that complements your style, I will consider working on the go.
Attire:
- Place yourself within garments which reflect you as an individual. Don’t hesitate to bring props and costumes that represent who you are and what you do, whether that is a performer, an athlete, fitness personality, a socialite, or a musician. Everything is welcome in the world of art.
- Colors are encouraged.
- Nudity is not accepted at this time, as it stands against the policies of most social media entities and hence will have to be censored and edited before it can be posted online. Partial nudity is ok.
Periscope:
A painting session will be live streamed on my Periscope channel with my commentary in the process, if you are a prominent internet celebrity with a Twitter account, this is a great way to cross-promote our work and engage with our userbases in a fun, reality TV style, interactive way.
What you get:
A high resolution image that can be shared online, printed and framed and a step by step process video like this.
Medium:
The portraits are captured using a new modernized method based on an iPad Pro, Apple Pencil and a Procreate app. This is a pioneering technique which is comparable to the work of early electronic music creators, that will evolve into a new genre. Be a part of something grand!
